The Friends of Collier-Seminole State Park is a nonprofit organization of dedicated members and volunteers who help preserve the natural beauty and resources of the Real Florida for generations to come.
The friends help support the park in many ways:
Preserve and protect state parks.
Educate visitors about the value of state parks.
Encourage community engagement and active use of state parks.
Provide financial support to supplement state funding.
Every year, in season, the Friends of Collier-Seminole State Park offer daytime and moonlight guided canoe trips along with various fundraisers such as stargazing, musical events, and sales of firewood to park campers.
