Description
Join Park Staff for a birdwatching extravaganza in front of the Thursby House where we will hike through the park celebrating National Bird Day by looking for as many birds as possible! Portions of the hike will take place on rough terrain. Please make sure to bring closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, extra water, binoculars and a camera. Dogs are not permitted at this program.
Seeking more feathered friends? Join us after the hike aboard our specialty river cruise at 10:30 AM, crafted to offer you the opportunity to spot a variety of bird species. You must check in at the boat dock 10 minutes prior to departure. The boat is located at the docks at the end of the main park road (lower parking lot). You must RSVP online for the boat cruise:
